Sally Boon Matthews

Sally Boon Matthews is a British born and educated artist  living in New York City.
She received a Foundation Degree in Art and a Diploma in Art and Design (Honours) from The Arts University College at Bournemouth, UK and  additional graduate studies in History amnd Philosphy at Boston University, USA
Her photographs have been included in numerous magazines such as The New York Times, Blitz Magazine, Tricycle: The Buddhist Review,  and used as book covers for Random House, Penguin Books, The Overlook Press,  and Pantheon Books.
Her work has  been included in group exhibitions at Battersea Museum of Art, UK, Gallerie Soledo, Venezuela, Chateau de Trousse-Barriere, France, Alexandria Museum of Art, USA,  Santa Barbara Museum of Art, USA and JAL Center, Queens, NY.
Currently she maintains a trans-displinary approach to art making, including Works on Paper and Sculpture/video along with photography.
